Titchfield Haven is a National Nature Reserve at the mouth of the River Meon, covering approximately 150 hectares of reed beds, lagoons, wet meadows, and scrub. The reserve is managed by Hampshire County Council and is one of the most important wetland sites on the south coast of England. It is home to a wide range of breeding and wintering waterbirds, including bittern, bearded tit, water rail, and many species of waders and wildfowl.
