West Street
Street guide, Titchfield
West Street runs west from The Square, climbing gently towards the residential areas of West Hill. The eastern end near The Square has some period properties that form part of the village conservation area, while further west the housing transitions to later development. The street provides one of the main routes into the village from the Fareham direction, though traffic is relatively light compared to the A27. West Street has a residential character with little commercial activity beyond the immediate vicinity of The Square. The Wheatsheaf pub is located on West Street, providing a second pub option within the village centre alongside the Bugle. The street connects to Cartwright Drive and other residential roads that branch off to the north and south, serving the West Hill residential area. It is a functional street that links the historic centre to the wider village.
